W P Prince 33 of Amarillo suffered a fractured skull and six others were injured when two cars collided about 7 20 tonight eight miles north of Tohoka. H L Brooks 29 and Mrs Brooks 18 of Gadsden Alabama were in Prince car. Beatrice L Gilmore and Lillie Mae Gilmore 21 and Garland Gilmore were also hurt. Mrs Brooks knee was lacerated. Garland Gilmore had a head injury. Beatrice Gilmore possibly a head injury and unconscious. Others’ diagnoses not announced at Lubbock sanitarium.

Woman Suffocates in Fire at Sudan
A fire destroyed the city fire office and other buildings in Sudan on Dec 29, causing the death by suffocation of Mrs. G. W. Chesher, wife of a theater manager. Damage was about $25,000.
