Senate Sends $1.8 Billion Supplemental Bill to Nixon

The Senate passed a 1.8 billion supplemental appropriations bill sending 255 million for Cambodia aid and 500 million for military sales credits to bolster Israel. It also rejected a 66.6 billion defense bill, sending it to new talks over foreign policy restrictions and the use of ground forces in Southeast Asia. Jetliner Crash Kills At Least Two In Virgin Islands

A Trans Caribbean Airways Boeing 727 with 53 aboard crashed into a hill at the end of Harry S Truman airport in Charlotte Amalie.
