Two men drowned near White Deer when their truck left the road west of town and overturned. The ages of the victims remain unknown though one carried a scrap with the name J W Kurlee. Bodies were taken to Panhandle undertakers as investigators seek IDs.
Mrs Coolidge assists in two charity events in Washington to distribute toys to children and prepare Yuletide baskets with the Salvation Army. She plans to travel to Sapelo Island Georgia to spend the holidays after returning from Northampton Massachusetts with her mother Mrs Lemira Goodhue.
Tuesday forecast calls for fair skies and moderate temperatures across Amarillo and West Texas. The system shows rising pressure over the region with high pressure centered over Utah, supporting continued fair weather tonight and Tuesday. Temperatures remain mild with little change expected in New Mexico and the Rocky Mountain Plains.

In Cartersville Georgia a customer sparked a Roman candle causing a store fire that killed four holiday workers all teens and a proprietor’s son severely burned a rescuer fought back into flames as the blaze raged across the shop. Firefighters pulled out charred bodies amid chaotic scenes of chaos and heat.
