Six Die in Minneapolis Hospital Fire
Six patients perished when short circuited Christmas tree lights ignited a fire at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis. Firefighters rescued over 40 patients, including babies, from the five story building as flames and smoke spread through the patient areas on the third floor. The dead, all from Minneapolis, include Mrs Pilla M Mullins and six others aged 47 to 82. one evacuated infant later died at Minneapolis General Hospital from a heart condition.
