Four Die When Car Plunges Into Water Ditch
Four victims identified by papers found on them drowned when an automobile left the road and sank into a water filled ditch two and a half miles west of Beaumont Texas. George Deiffenbach of New York and Lee V. McAuley of Beaumont were among the car’s occupants. Leonard A. Petina aged 41 a superintendent with the company and Elizabeth Stafford of Beaumont were also named.
