Funeral Is Set For Car Victim
Funeral services for James Conwell of Tucumcari New Mexico will be held Wednesday at 2 PM at Dunn's Funeral chapel. Conwell was killed Sunday night when struck by an automobile on Highway 66 one mile west of Tucumcari. The driver W L Simon of Crowns King Arizona was absolved of blame. authorities said the accident was unavoidable. Conwell had car troubles and was signaling to a filling station when he was hit on a curve. He died instantly from chest injuries and multiple fractures.
