Geologist Schwartz Found Dead in Pampa Home
Pampa geologist Harry E. Schwartz about 50 was found shot to death in his bedroom at 1616 N Russell. A coroner ruled death by gunshot wound after he apparently shot himself with a .22 pistol early today following a farewell note to family. Robbers Take $44,000 From College Park Bank
In College Park Maryland two bandits tricked their way into the bank cashier's apartment and forced him to help rob the Suburban Trust Co night depository. Donald Bischoff and his wife were tied up for five hours as the robbers looted an estimated forty four thousand dollars. FBI agent Robert Lally placed the haul at about $44,000 and police say the night depository was full of Christmas funds.
