High Army Men In Mexico Are Named in Bill

Brownsville December 6 The United States government cracks down on alleged violators of the neutrality act indicting four high ranking Mexican army officers and five others for buying airplanes in the United States and shipping them to Loyalist Spain. Gen Roberto Fierro and Gen Alfredo Levama Alvarez head the list with others including Col Rafael Monroe Col Gustavo Leon Fritz Bieler Cloyd P. Clevenger Sixto Del Rio Carlos Paini and Jose Aspe Suriaga Also named CIA de Transportado Aereos Pacifico of Mexico. The ambassador Felix Gordon Ordaz is named as co conspirator but not indicted. The indictment delivered to Federal Judge C B Kennamer after Clevenger was sentenced to 18 months in prison for violating the act. Bond set at 25000 each for all but Cleven Ber. 19 airplanes traced flown to Mexico City and Vera Cruz then to Loyalist Spain. Clevenger may have sentence reduced. Clevenger held. Klein surrendered but charges dismissed.
