Frances Lee Springer, daughter of Mr and Mrs Witt Springer, will become director of nursing at Northwest Texas Hospital. Appointed by the hospital board last night, she accepted the post about 9:30 PM in a phone call with hospital superintendent Buck Beringer. Springer, in Denver, will assume duties December 15, succeeds Wanda Reed, who resigned after twenty years.
