In Hartshorne Oklahoma on December 4 reports say National Guardsmen Justice agents citizens posses and peace officers chased five escaped federal prisoners across wide areas. Constable Clarence Boatwright said the fugitives may be in the Jack Fort or Winding Stair mountain country south of Hartshorne. A Collinsville druggist claimed Dewey Gilmore among the five stopped at his store earlier, as the search extended toward nearby towns.

Kiddies Under 12 See Santa Film Without Charge
All children under 12 will be admitted free Saturday morning to the Santa Claus talking pictures at the Paramount Theater in Amarillo. The film, sent by Captain F. E. Kleinschmidt, head of a Santa Claus land expedition, is among the first of its kind. First show at 9 am with four additional showings through 11:30 am. Roy Beckwith Cleared of Assault with Intent to Murder

D F Todd, chairman of Santa Fe system clerks, said attorneys were retained to secure a stay of the national mediation board order directing representation of Santa Fe clerks through the Brotherhood of Railway Clerks. The board had ruled the clerks should be represented by the brotherhood after a ballot. The system committee contended the ballot did not show a majority of eligible clerks voting.
