Tragedy Unfolds in Amarillo Household Killings
Police say DeCorreto killed his wife DeCarleto and shot his 4 year old son in a second floor kitchen and a third floor bedroom respectively. Investigators found five weapons in the apartment including a percussion revolver M 1 carbine and a .38 revolver. About 30 shots were fired with several hitting unoccupied police cars and pavement. No one outside the home was injured while neighbors watched as officers cordoned off the area.
