The accident happened about 8:45 p.m. on U.S Highway 87 when a northbound pickup struck a cedар fence posts laden truck. Gillespie was freed from the overturned vehicle.
Hollen Scott 38 of Tulsa died after contact with a neutral wire while linemen phased in a 4160 volt circuit in a northside business area. Joe Gamble W B Steel and James Guthrie assisted, using resuscitation efforts until ambulance crews arrived. Funeral arrangements are pending. Scott, a city employee since 1952, is survived by wife Barbara two daughters sisters a brother and his mother.
