Denver Man Dies in Wreck
Alfred E. Gosney 52 of Denver Colorado furniture salesman was killed about 6 30 p m yesterday in a highway accident miles south of Bivins Station on Highway 287. He was driving a rented car and apparently alone when it struck a railroad underpass. The body was taken to Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Dumas.

Two girls ages five and four went missing from their Van Buren homes for three hours before being found at 8:45 p.m. at the Twin Drive-In theater on Canyon Highway. About 50 vehicles and three police cars searched the South Amarillo area as relatives and grandmothers worriedly waited. They had wandered about a mile and a half, then were spotted by a motorist who notified the projectionist and police. The girls are Binnie Linn Julius and Mollee Gallagher. They were returned home after ice cream was discussed with their father.
