Policemen and Rangers seized four thousand bottles of beer and 400 quarts of corn whiskey in a dawn raid on the Heart of the oil fields. Four men were jailed in Potter county after a stucco Pantex operation where Jim Thomas led with two pistols but fled. weapons and liquor were confiscated and whiskey destroyed in Pantex.
