Hit-and-run suspect charged with intoxicated manslaughter

The 72 year old man, Lome Tremagel, was charged in Potter County with one count of intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle in the death of 7 year old Frank Eric Miller, who was struck July 19 while riding a bicycle near his home north of Bushland. Evidence includes a blood alcohol concentration of 10 or more, store video of vodka purchase hours before the crash, a matching vehicle description, and a neighbor’s account. Tremagel had prior drunken driving incidents and was also charged July 20 with failure to stop and render aid. he had not yet been booked on the new charge Wednesday.

Tornado claims life as Salt Lake City hit hard
