Aspirin Fatality Shocks Lockney Family

Ernest Keller a six month old son of Mr and Mrs Albert Keller of Lockney died in Plainview Hospital after consuming 75 to 100 aspirin tablets. An older sibling reportedly moved the bottle from a cabinet but escaped harm. The child was admitted at 3 o clock Saturday and died at 6 after convulsions. Funeral services were held Sunday at Leckney.

Suspect Held in Wheat Thefts Across Panhandle Counties

Suspect Thomas, believed resident of Odema, arrested in Spearman and charged with theft in Hansford Ochiltree and Dasa counties. Wheat thefts from farms and elevators in three Panhandle counties began mid July.
