Dumas Man Rescued After Four Days On Lake Meredith

Jon Blair a 43 year old nurse from Dumas survived four days stranded in reeds and marsh along the Canadian River near Lake Meredith. Hungry and hypothermic he clung to life with help from family memories and wild grasshoppers after his dog wandered off.

Park ranger Laura Slige announced a positive outcome after water skiers located Jon Blair at about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday on Lake Meredith. Blair had disappeared along the Canadian River between Plum Creek Canyon and U S Highway 287 after his wife reported him missing Monday. His canoe was found south of the planned pickup point and Lifestar crews spotted Blair.

Amended roof deeds in Puckett Place split units 1 and 20

Oklahoma Water Board denies Seaboard ground-water permit
