From A to Izzard Sometimes It’s Even Hilarious

James Collins of Monroe Street near Canyon Highway expresses alarm at Radio Moscow shortwave broadcasts to the United States. He recounts a 9 45 PM broadcast about the Democratic Youth Council in Berlin and notes American soldiers and an American girl testifying that capitalism would ruin the US. He argues the government does not jam these broadcasts as a retaliatory measure and recalls Poland closing its American information center in Warsaw. The State Department ordered that center closed in New York within 24 hours in retaliation. He concludes the Kremlin fears the Voice of America, while Americans need not fear Radio Moscow and should listen, perhaps for entertainment.
