Tonight from 6 to 10 oclock the First National Bank opens its new building to the public inviting all in Amarillo and the Panhandle. Virgil Patterson urges attendance as tenants join in the reception with performances by The We Three Trio and Bernie Howell. The event features an currency exhibit from colonial times to today, an open house across the building, and a 30 minute radio broadcast Monday night.

Hereford Man Is a Survivor of B-29 Crash
Hereford resident Air Force Capt. Jack R. Cox, 29, survived the Fairfield-Suisun Air Base B-29 crash that killed at least 17 in a Saturday night explosion.
