Survived by multiple sons and daughters with funeral arrangements to be announced by Spicer and Blackburn Shaw. William David Taggart 80 of Mountain View Okla died Sunday at his sons home while visiting. Survived by three other sons and two daughters with funeral arrangements to be announced by several family funeral homes.

Graham officiating. Survived by a brother and sister Miss Ellen Beauchamp of Washington DC. Interment in Childress Cemetery.

Elbert Hendrick, 55, died of a heart attack today in Hereford. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Gililland Funeral Home. Born October 28, 1901 in Haskell Texas, he married Mary Gilham January 15, 1922 in Reed Oklahoma and moved to Deaf Smith County in 1945. Survivors include his wife, a four year old daughter, six brothers Jim and John Hendrick of Mangum Oklahoma Brice and L of Amarillo O R of Garland Texas and M D Hendrick of Hereford and a sister Mrs Sarah Morrison of Montague Texas.

Funeral set for Billy Joe Ray in Plainview
Funeral services for Billy Joe Ray 27 of Plainview will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. F W Elmore and Rev. E S Weathers officiating. He died Sunday night at the Medical Center. Ray, a Korean War veteran and bricklayer, was born March 2 1930 in Ada Oklahoma and came to Plainview 13 years ago. He married Appie Ruth Lynch on June 18 1953 who survives alongside a daughter Delta Raeleen and a son Billy Joe Jr both at home. Also surviving are his father A N Ray of Hobart Okla three brothers W W R Ray Braceville Ill Paul D Ray Ada Okla J A Ray Oklahoma City and a sister Mrs John W McLuckie Braceville Ill. The body lies in state at Lemons Funeral Home with interment in Plainview Memorial Park.

Man Saves Two Trapped in Car
Albert R. Cook of St. Louis was credited by Missouri State Highway Patrol with saving Mr and Mrs Kirkpatrick from a flaming car after a collision on U S 66 near Eureka. Their 10 year old son Dennis escaped before Cook arrived. All three were only slightly hurt. They live in Seminole Texas.
