Man Given Lie Test in Panhandle Murder Case

A polygraph administered in Lubbock to a Panhandle suspect in the July 23 murder of Mrs. Elsa Romo Nickell had not been released by Friday night. Two earlier tests cleared a local attorney and Mrs. Nickell's husband. Sheriff Nunn seeks more tests and hunts for a dark-colored chrome car tied to the case. Chief Teague appeals to the anonymous Mrs. G. who sent a letter. The body was found by her younger brother and autopsy said suffocation by pillow.

Wendy Dawn Returns Home to Crowded MEMPHIS Concert

Wendy Dawn formerly Dottie Weaver and now Dottie Hartsell drew a large hometown crowd for a concert in Memphis. Mayor Kenneth Dale proclaimed Wendy Dawn Day as posters lined the town. Judge Rejects Inquest Bid In Kennedy Auto Death
