Amarillo welder Jack Barton 27 is hospitalized with severe knife wounds to the throat and chest after an altercation at 3709 West Sixth Street over a gasoline tank. First County Judge Emanual Dubbs Dies at 89 in Milford
Panhandle pioneer Rev. Emanual Dubbs, first elected Wheeler County judge from 1882 to 1890, died at his Milford Indiana home aged 89. A Civil War veteran, he later evangelized at First Christian Church Clarendon and resided there until 1922 before moving to Indiana. He leaves a widow, five sons, seventeen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, with funeral set for Clarendon church.
