X S Shelton from Clovis NM was injured with a leg fracture and other injuries and taken to Crowell hospital. Cooley from Wichita Falls drove the truck and could not rescue Summers. A new Albuquerque Santa Rosa highway cut off opened with ceremonies in Santa Rosa New Mexico.
