Ranch Hand Burned in Gas Blast at Tourist Camp
B O Neeley a 66 year old ranch employee from near Lubbock was severely burned about the head arms and legs in a gas explosion at Amatex Tourist Camp 1317 East Tenth Street. The blast about 10 45 p m blew out the room wall and started a fire later extinguished by the fire department. An ambulance took Neeley to Northwest Texas Hospital for treatment. Authorities suspect gas ignition when the occupant lit a match.
