J E Bristow an Oklahoma oil man was released by bandits in the mountains near Ahuacatlan Nayarit Mexico after ransom was paid by his son Obie Bristow. Bristow said he learned of the rescue only last Friday and appeared exhausted and wearied from a month in captivity as troops guard the party en route to Tepic and Mazatlan.
