Louisiana Tech coach Leon Barmore announced on Saturday he will remain with Tech instead of taking a job with the Houston Comets of the WNBA. The decision comes eight days after the Comets expressed interest, and Barmore, 52, will begin his 16th season as Tech's head coach next fall.
Roosevelt Wagner, ex Michigan State football player who spurred an NCAA probe, was arrested in Ravenna Ohio on suspicion of drug trafficking. Authorities listed two counts in a Portage County booking sheet, reported by The Detroit News and Ravenna Record Courier. Wagner, 26, had earlier alleged grade changes and booster payments up to 700 dollars under former coach George Perles.
