Band Rally To Hail Ford On Visit Here
Amarillo plans include a mayoral event with a band and rally to greet President Gerald Ford. Ford's schedule features a 7 p.m. arrival at Amarillo Air Terminal, a 30 to 40 minute rally, a motel stop, and an 8 p.m. speech at West Texas State University Field House with a public Q A session. About 3,000 free tickets are available at the WTSU Activities Center or Canyon Chamber of Commerce plus overflow seating outside.
