T D Wagner, 76, Amarillo real estate dealer and early Fort Worth and Denver railroad builder, died Sunday at his home after five months of illness. Chicago April 5 A telegram from Attorney Bernard M. Finnigan to his wife reports progress in the secret search for a $5,000 cache of Lindbergh ransom money in New York. The telegram follows the forcible disappearance of Finnigan and client Stephen Spitz, who claimed to have bought and hidden the money in a safe deposit box. Spitz had been freed in Chicago on forgery charges after offering to reveal the ransom cache, aided by an $892 telegraph money order from Gov. Harold Hoffman to cover the rest of a $1,000 fine.
