Twister Injures One and Damages Brookshire Buildings

Sheriff Barnett questioned Gypsies seen today near the Bar nett robbery but no money was found on them. Kingsland officers chased a black sedan seen speeding away at the time. Cashier D F E Folger locked the bank at noon and left. Walter Cox later found the front door open and Emmett Fowler notified the cashier. Robbers took all from the cashier’s drawer, leaving $603 in the safe.

Bankers repel machine gun bandits in Bishop gun battle

Altoona Pa April 5 Beck and Lieutenant John Leland McAlister of Langley Field Va crashed into the side of a hill in his army pursuit plane late today and was killed.
