Jersey City New Jersey May 27 a four story tenement collapsed at Colgate street. Four family residents died including Mamie Ella and Barney Anderson and Michael Webb. Many injured with estimates of family casualties as firemen and neighbors rescued survivors. Coroner to hold inquest.

Five Armed Men Board Grand Trunk Freight Train
At Ft Gratiot five gunmen seized a south bound Grand Trunk freight Tuesday night and held it until a short distance beyond Frazer before fleeing. Deputies at Mt Clemens were overpowered. by morning a posse pursued near Detroit and Frazer but the men were not found. The tramps claimed a plan to reach Detroit to catch the circus.

Collision on a Curve at Somerset Junction
A double train collision on the Old Colony Railroad at Somerset Junction Massachusetts occurred at 6 20 p m with two passenger trains on a steep grade. Engines telescoped and cars piled on tenders but passenger cars stayed on track. Master Barney was badly cut and bruised. no other serious injuries reported. Miss Canfield shot herself at Belleville seminary Newark New Jersey. she is very weak and doctors will not probe for the bullet with no hope of recovery.
