A telegram from New York reports Grace Harrington widow of Lieut. Harrington of the Seventh Cavalry, who vanished from Dallas two years ten months ago while insane, has been located in Fort Worth and is at last reunited with her friends. Harrington fell with Custer at the Little Bighorn in 1876.
A fire on the first floor of the Commercial hotel in Guetta Ontario at 2 am caused guests to jump from windows in night attire as stairway escapes failed. Proprieter Waugh was severely burned and the building was gutted requiring rebuilding. losses and insurance details unavailable. Separate report from Milwaukee outlines a deer park plan in Calumet county with fencing and kept game during a transition period.
A Baltimore banker asserts the Garretts aim to keep control of the Baltimore and Chico road, with or without syndicate support, amid a resignation of a vice president who left to assume the presidency of another railway. The Koger Locomotive Works reports a secured loan of 48000 in New Jersey.

The jury found J D Thyng acquitted after a ten day trial in Burrato New York. Seventy eight witnesses testified as the prominent Baptist merchant faced a charge of securing his store through insurance. A dramatic verdict led to a fainting scene as Mrs Ang fainted and relatives reacted with hysteria while supporters cheered.
Dec 5 reports indicate US officials have sent a claim to the Mexican government on Cutting’s behalf. There is widespread belief in informed circles that Mexico will not back the Ererenens in honoring the claim and the Nacional urges the nation to protest in unison.

A Reading railway boiler explosion six miles east of Tamaqua killed seven men and injured others. Victims include engineer Alexander Walker 43 and fireman Albert Gufmer 35 with grisly injuries. Conductor Wallace Ellinger 35 died. brakeman David Pfleger 32, Joseph Reitsyuder 28, and others were seriously hurt or perished. The cause remains undetermined with rumors of a condemned action prior to the crash.
