In Battimore Mo August 15 the Tailors National Union revises the constitution. Grand Lodge conventions will occur every two years instead of annually. Striker allowances drop to four dollars weekly. Local assemblies may form joint delegations to share costs for National conventions.
Lancaster Pa August 15 Sheriff Werkinger of York County and Detective Stil arrested Hiram Frantz at Middletown for highway robbery. Frantz broke free and Stil fired wounding him fatally in the groin. Officers fled as townmen threatened to lynch them.
