Senator Love Outlines West Texas Road Plans
Fort Davis September 24 Senator Tom Love touring West Texas urged major road improvements. He called for a scenic road through the Davis mountains, rehabilitation of the Spanish Trail from Sonora to Alpine, and a better route from San Angelo through Big Lake and Stockton. He favored a scenic road and park system to attract Texas summers, camp sites, and accessibility to the Davis mountains. He noted rough roads, concrete dips, and the need for a main highway through the region. Love plans further civic engagement as he travels via Monkhead Highway later this week.
