Geologists To Visit Glass Mountains Field Trip
The West Texas Geological Society sponsors a two day field trip to the Glass Mountains region October 25 and 26. Registration takes place at the Hollander Hotel in Alpine on October 24 afternoon. Leaders include Dr Philip B King of the U S Geological Survey and Dr G Arthur Cooper of the U S National Museum. August Goldstein Jr of Bell Oil and Gas Co Tulsa will lecture at 8 p m October 24 at Sul Ross College. Crabs are shipped to market alive packed in seaweed.
