Alpine to Host Big Bend School Men and Boards Association Meet
Alpine Public Schools will host the Big Bend School Men and Schools Boards Association one day event on Sept 27 in the school cafeteria. Dr Norman L McNeil president of Sul Ross State College will be the speaker. The City of Alpine ordered a new fire truck last February and delivery is overdue. City Council authorized Mayor Bill Winter to press the supplier to speed delivery, originally promised for July 15.
