Institute Sessions Opened in Alpine Sept 1 1913
Brewster County reports the Teach Stute convened at Alpine on September 1 1913 with Maine Public Schools conductor Suipt and Mrs Eugenia D ter of Marathon school assisting. Officials like J D Jackson and A J Turney spoke on plans while over 540 pupils enrolled in Alpine public schools the first day including 50 at the Mexican school.
