Brewster County Texas Sheriff Sale of Enormous Land Tracts
The Brewster County District Court issues a sheriff sale of extensive private lands belonging to J W Gilmer as judgment debtor. The notice lists dozens of Survey Numbers, blocks, and certificated parcels including 640 acre tracts and many more across the southern part of Brewster County. The sale follows a August 1829 judgment in favor of O M Graham against J W Gilmer, with property described under multiple railroad and land grant attestations.
