Deputy Rawls Fights Off Attack After Texas Shootout
In Marfa Texas on a Sunday night a dance at Rock House turned violent when Fletcher Rawls detained a gunman Maria Dominguez after he fired three shots. Rawls shot Dominguez in the solar plexus ending the assault, while other Mexicans gathered rocks then dispersed. Dominguez dies shortly after. Rawls is bonded to appear at the next grand jury.
