Flor ence Forchheimer Halpern Nuptials In San Antonio

Mrs Lora Bell Lockhart reports the Sunday Oct 5 wedding of Florence Forchheimer to Albert Vernon Halpern at the couple's home in San Antonio. Rabbi David Jacobson officiated with music by Barbara Polsky and Graves Bogel. Attendants included Mrs Paul Forchheimer as matron of honor and Capt Lawrence Bruckman as best man. The couple left for a Mexico trip and will reside at 470 Olmos Drive East, San Antonio.

Edna Carson Circle Elects Officers At Oct Meeting

Edna Carson circle of the WM U of the First Baptist Church met at the home of Mrs George Henderson on Tuesday afternoon October 7 with eight ladies present. Officers elected included Mrs Robert Carlton co chairman and others for secret ary treasurer Bible leader and program chair. Plans were made for visitation to enlist new members. The group will meet again next Tuesday at 8 15 p m for Bible study on the Destiny of Women in the Old Testament. Reporter G W Burdett reported a business trip to San Saba. EL PROGRESO CLUB HAS FEDERATION PROGRAM El Progreso club met Friday at the home of Mrs F S Breshears with co hostess Mrs Jack Perryman. The federation day program highlighted improvements in Texas schools. Next meeting October 11 at the home of Mrs Mark Herring with program director Mrs Chalmers Broadfoot.
