Alpine Welcomes New Radford Grocery Manager
Edgar Frenkbeck an Austrian Jew died of tuberculosis in his tent on a hillside near Alpine last Saturday and was buried Monday in the Alpine cemetery. He came from East Texas months ago and left no relatives. local charity and county aid cared for him. J N Allison left Alpine for Dallas. Fred Cook of Cisco was appointed manager of the Alpine branch. Cook, a young bachelor, has returned from Marfa Shafter and Presidio and is optimistic about business in Alpine.
