B F Knapp of Colorado Agricultural College reports bacterial vaccines have rapidly aided healing in horses, cattle, and dogs. A vaccine from fistula germs reduced suppuration and cured over 9 percent of fistula and poll evil cases when applied by competent handlers, with benefits extending to nail pricks and wire injuries. Distemper vaccines in horses also reportedly shorten illness when given early, with hypodermic administration at set intervals.
