Marathon Commissioners Court Keeps Election Canvas and Road Orders
The Nov 14 1910 Marathon Commissioners Court canvassed the Nov 8 general election results naming E F Higgins as county judge and several other officials. It fixed official bonds, authorized road and crossing work with the Texas Rubber Co crossing, approved purchases including a Royal Reversible road machine and a Burroughs adding machine, and set monthly deputy salaries for Marathon town duties.
