Open House for the Methodist parsonage Saturday afternoon from three to five featured fall yellow and orange flowers and tall yellow tapers. Over 75 guests signed the guest book as Betty Dillon led the tours, with punch served by Mrs. Edgar Martin and others.

The Holland Hotel Barber Shop will relocate this weekend to the northwest corner of the hotel, occupying the former Ladies Lounge and set to reopen Monday. Girl Scout Leadership Course Taught in Community Setting
The second and third sessions of a Girl Scout Group Leadership course were held Tuesday and Wednesday in the Methodist church to train troop leaders and mothers. Mrs. Iva Hobden, executive director of the Permian Basin Gift Scout Area council, leads the program from the Holland hotel area and offers consultation to interested parties. Attendance lists from Alpine and Marathon show out‑of‑town participants and no further sessions at 7 p.m. were scheduled.
