Bucks Win Over Eagles in Rough Alpine Field Tilt

The Bucks defeated the Sanderson Eagles in a tough, high contact game on Alpine field. Dickie Allen, a 110 pound freshman, directed the Bucks offense with sharp ball handling before halftime and again in the final period. Luminaries include Luis Lara, Marlin Robinson, John O Donne Lara, Leyva, Cummins, Sammons, Boyd, and Van Horn. The Eagles, despite weight advantage, were solid but overwhelmed by a late three- TD burst and determined Bucks defense. The clash, a district 9 B showdown, is billed as a highlight of the 1950 season with potential district crown implications.
