W R Wyatt named trustee of common school district No 2. Tax and bond actions, including redemption of first and second refunding bonds, and payment of jail and vault annex bonds approved. Court sat as board of equalization with valuations set for range stock and livestock. Monthly and annual reports approved. court to meet again June 30.

Alpine Club Triumphs Over Fort Stockton 15–to–
In a lopsided affair the Alpine Club defeated Fort Stockton 15 to an undetermined score as the game featured fast play and two of three home runs by Alpine. Gillett and Sublet starred for Alpine with superb fielding and a standout throw from the outfield cutting off Stockton’s sole scoring chance. The crowd was large and lively, and the Stockton team was praised as a fine group of young men.

Alumni Banquet Honors 1919 Graduates at School Building
The fourth annual Alumni Banquet was held Thursday evening at the school building. About sixty guests attended including alumni, faculty, and trustees wives. The hall featured scarlet and gray decor and a special table for the class of 1919 and guests. A five course menu was served by domestic science students under Miss Price. The program included a military note and speeches by Miss Hamilton, Miss Caldwell, Mrs Henderson, Mrs Camp, and Mr Bentley with several promptu talks before the business session adjourned.
