Sul Ross College Awarded U.S. Grant for English Study
Sul Ross State College receiving eighteen thousand seven hundred two dollars from the Cooperative Research branch of the U S Office of Education and the U S Department of Health Education and Welfare. The grant runs June 1 1964 to November 30 1965 for a study on applying psychological principles to teaching English and improving reading skills with project director Dr Ess Coleman and co directors Dr J P Blumenfeld and Dr G R Miller.

Driver Education Course Scheduled at Sul Ross
Safety authorities from across Texas will lecture at a driver education workshop at Sul Ross State College from June 22 through July 10. The program offers three hours of graduate credit for driver education teachers and runs weekdays from 1 to 5 p.m. Lecturers include officials from the Texas Safety Association and Department of Public Safety, plus local patrolmen and instructors.
