PCA Anniversary Marks Growth and Leadership Changes
Nearly 300 attended the Marfa Production Credit Association 25th anniversary barbecue at the Beta Sigma Phi building. Speakers included William Stokes of the Federal Intermediate Credit Bank of Houston and Macon Boddy of Henrietta. New directors elected were Gearhart, L. L. Wylie, Ben Burkholder, and Jimmy Pate. The PCA, started with $450, has grown to $1,206,000 in capital with over $116,000,000 loaned in a nine-county area, and plans to acquire the Federal Intermediate Credit Bank of Houston within a year.
