Marathon Club Notes and Community Socials in Marathon
Marathon Study club held its last meeting of the season at Mrs. R Arnold home with Miss Virginia Lambert presenting Health Through The Ages. A series of social events followed including a Pleinie Party for Donnie Parker and a Junior Girls dance at the Gage hotel. The community also celebrated Lola Garza and Benito Garcia's marriage, and baccalaureate services were conducted at the high school. Local residents were reported traveling, visiting, and hosting gatherings with extensive social activity across Marathon.
