Fiend Again Visits Marathon Fire Threatens Town
A third recent blaze in the town raises fear as the Yarbro Hotel and its bungalow are destroyed in an hour after the Davis garage burned last week. Firefighters battled the flames from Uncle Charley Totty’s stop and down to the depot, with speculation of incendiary origin but no proof. Residents fear more fires unless action is taken. Mrs Hector visited, and Mrs Henderson’s group left for San Antonio to open a rooming house.
