Texas liquor petition gains momentum against primary ballot
In San Antonio on May 17 Milton Everett builds support for a July primary ballot measure on beer and light wine sales. The plan seeks about 49 000 names, or ten percent of 1920 primary voters, with many more expected. The propositions would legalize low alcohol beer and wine sales and allow medicinal liquor with a doctor's prescription, sold in unbroken packages.
